We drove 4,100 miles in 17 days with ten of those days being tenting nights outside where we would unload our bed-rolls and sleeping bags from the AeroPack and set up camp for the night. For a family of six, it was the perfect solution to store bulky, lightweight items like sleeping bags since our luggage took up the space in the van. The AeroPack stayed secure and in place the entire trip whether in the rain, at interstate speeds, high winds or even a bout of hail we traveled through. Temps ranged from 29f degrees to 101 and the pack was pliable, soft and easily accessible with the zippers and velcro through it all. Matthew -Civic"In the summer my family and I drove our 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid over 8,000 miles from Southern California to the East Coast and back. WE USED AeroSACK TO CARRY ALL OUR CAMPING SUPPLIES (tent, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, cooking gear and jackets). Everything mounted on our trunk with ease. After adjusting the straps for my vehicle and using a “Zip-tie” to coil up and hold in place the excess strapping material the mounting the AeroSACK on the trunk never took more than 5 minutes; often times less than 3 minutes! The polypropylene liner bag kept all the contents dry when we were hit by some tough afternoon thunderstorms. After traveling along miles of mud and dusty roads, the exterior of the sack cleaned up with a wipe of a wet rag. On our trip we averaged 44 miles to the gallon using AeroSACK. We hardly get that when driving around Southern California without it! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE AeroSACK TO ANY ONE that needs to carry the extra soft gear without filling the trunk, back seat or using a “gas-eating” car top carrier. Tom -Ireland, Toyota Matrix hatch backI used the AeroSack and a roof box together to allow for the extra gear we needed to bring on our trip. I packed up the AeroSack and installed it on the car in a few minutes. We had a short drive (25 minutes) to the ferry port. The ferry journey from Cork, Ireland to France took 14 hours and I left the Aerosack on the car during the journey. Once we arrived in France we traveled 500km to our destination. The Aerosack was on the car from the time we left Cork, 1pm on a Saturday to arriving at our destination in France around 2pm on the Sunday and it never moved or needed any adjustments. We had a similar return journey. Without the Aerosack we wouldn't have been able to bring all the gear we needed and I will definitely use it again. ___________________________________________________________________________________________
