1. Measure the lift gate width. AeroPACK should be mounted so rear turn signals / brake lights are visible. Mount AeroPACK 8-10 inches below the top of the rear window for visibility if needed. D.O.T. law requires 2 functioning side mirrors, if the rear window is obscured. Be a safe and responsible driver, comply with all local laws.

2. Vehicles have a channel between the rear lift gate or trunk to accept the J hook. This gap should be about a #2 pencil width in diameter. If the gap is not large enough, open the trunk or lift gate, inset the clips or move the rubber gasket aside and insert the J hook into the slot.

3. Do not mount J hooks on glass, plastic or spoilers

4. Lift Gate: Strap 3 hooks on top and 2 bottom hooks to side of lift gate, tighten straps securely.

5. Trunk: Place pack on trunk, overlap 3 straps over bag and hook to base of trunk lid and overlap 2 straps over bag, to top of trunk edge.
